China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses Trucks & Components (Bus & Truck 2011) has been held from 12th to 14th May 2011 in China National Convention Center in Beijing, which is hosted by Ministry of Transport. Higer Bus attended it with five exquisite models and wins three awards: “Best City Bus” for KLQ6129GHE2 hybrid power city bus, “Best Highway Coach” for KLQ6122Q and “Best Innovation” for KLQ6120.

Two new energy models are shown at this exhibition: 10.5-meter low access electric city bus KLQ6109GEV running 190 kilometer with full power and parallel hybrid power city bus KLQ6129GHE1, provided with the independently developed HIGER-10 controller and suitable for the public transport in medium and large cities (electric power ratio of over 50% and actual fuel saving ratio of 30%).

It is know that Higer Bus has produced 12 KLQ6601 electric buses in 1999 and plans to manufacture 3000 new energy city buses, accounting for 50% of the total city buses, sales revenue of 2 to 3 billion Yuan by 2015.

KLQ6122B is the highway coach for passenger transport, European leading design style, fuel consumption of the configured engine: 21-23L/100km; KLQ6122Q is the bus for tourism transport as well as commuter.

Both KLQ6122B and KLQ6122Q are outfitted with G-BOS intelligence operation systems. Higer G-BOS (G represents 3G:GPS、GIS、GPRS and BOS is "bus operation system" for short) integrates the functions of GPS, driving recorder, fuel consumption recorder, maintenance management, remote breakdown analysis and stitches matching and wins good reputation for improving of drivers' improper operation behavior such as snap-acceleration, rapid deceleration, engine overspeed and constant driving for too long time to increase safety; offering specific operation data & record as the evidence to control fuel consumption. As of 9 May, over 7000 systems have been equipped.
