Higer KLQ6129GHE1 hybrid power city bus once obtains new energy award of China bus competition 2010 and "Best New Energy Bus of China Road Transportation Cup". This model applies HIGER-10 controller with proprietary intellectual property rights, international advanced control technology, domestic leading electronic control technology and hybrid power technology. Through strict testing as well as two year' s development, it reduces over 20% fuel, 243 tons carbon dioxide, around 40% nitrogen oxides and about 30% particles and occupies leading level in energy consumption, emission-reducing and economy in China. Currently, the model has launched mass production in Suzhou and Kunming for demonstration operation.

Since foundation, Higer Bus is always dedicated to the development and the manufacturing of new energy buses. In 1999, it produced 12 pure electric medium-sized coach; in 2002, it successfully developed hybrid power buses; in March 2006, it developed the first hydrogen fuel cell city bus in China; in 2008, it developed the third generation of hydrogen fuel cell city bus with low floor; in May 2010, Higer Bus developed the fourth generation of hydrogen fuel cell city bus with Tsinghua University, which will serve the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games in August.
