On October 12th-14th, 2011, Guangdong International Green Freight Fair was held in Shenzhen Exhibition Center. At the opening ceremony, Guangdong Traffic Department Green Freight Demonstration Project Office signed an agreement with Higer to join G-BOS system into this project. Director of Road Transport Division of Ministry of Transport LI, Gang; Vice-director of Guangdong Traffic Department YANG, Xiping and leaders of Shenzhen Government and World Bank witnessed the signing ceremony.

In 2009, Guangdong Government succeeded in applying for GEF Climate Change Donation Project - “Green Freight Demonstration Project” which was implemented by Guangdong Traffic Department, including Green Transport Technology Demonstration, Green Freight Organization Technology Demonstration and Capacity Building etc.
